It was a very memorable experience for me and my family to dine at Gumbo "The Taste of New Orleans".
Gumbo is located at the Mega Atrium in SM Megamall in Mandaluyong Ground Floor...
It was my idea on going to this resto..It was Mother's Day when we went here with my husband, kids and of course my mom.
It was unique experience. When you enter the resto, the waitress are wearing different kinds of headdress and good thing about this resto...they let you wear it so you can have a souvenir photo of it..I wore different kinds of headdress but this one in the picture,,,it caught my attention..It was so heavy and i just felt that im like a "peacock'.Seems that when i spread my wings i look beautiful..and even feel like a "queen".Wearing it gives me a different feeling..Something for me to be proud off wearing that beautiful headdress.My daughter and Mom wear also the other headdress but not as beautiful as my headdress...
Now its time to talk about food...before coming here i already made some research on what to eat here and of course how much would i spend for the food.I order the seafood platter and the jambalaya rice..To be honest the rice was "different".Im not used to eat but its also delicious but i still prefer plain rice or garlic rice..When you eat the seafood platter then the combination of jambalaya,your stomach will be full...i don't know why..maybe its not a good combination..Maybe a plain rice would be a good combination for the seafood platter..
To be honest it was a great lunch...i took so many pictures inside the resto and even the restroom..I strongly recommend that if you are a food lover and you want a different food adventure.Gumbo is a place to recommend to you..
